
"The Youth Council is one of the tools for youth participation that allows learning how to make decisions and take responsibility for the sustainable development of their local communities. That's very important for today when the amalgamated communities elaborate on their own strategies and agenda on their own. 6 September 2018, Lviv. More than 80 civic activists, public servants from local self-government bodies and journalists learned about the OGP Action Plan tasks and brainstormed how to improve usage of the OGP instruments at the local level.

20 youth workers from all the corners of Ukraine are being trained to develop joint advocacy initiatives on civic education during the third module of the long-term specialized course "Civic Education for Youth Workers", developed with UNDP support. Training took place on August 26-29, 2018 in Poltava.

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is continuing to support Ukraine to implement anti-corruption reforms.

On August 10-12, 2018, in Kyiv, the Integrity Solutions Social Innovation Camp gathered 14 youth teams to continue brainstorming and refining their ideas how to tackle corruption practices at the local level.

On August 15, 2018 in Kyiv, 55 civic activists attended a public lecture on how to enhance their own and their NGOs security, organized by the Centre for Civil Liberties with UNDP Ukraine support.
