NACP incorporates UNDP expertise for e-Asset Declarations launch. D-Day set for 15 August

Kyiv, 10 June 2016 – The National Agency on Corruption Prevention approved the format for electronic asset declarations and set 15 August this year as the deadline for the full-fledged system launch.


13434833 1074654485927808 4599010575503079772 n 006In addition to vouching the e-declaration template, the Agency agreed on the algorithm that shall underlie operations of the Unified State Register of e-Asset Declarations, including data intake, processing and publication. Relevant regulatory documents will shortly be shipped to the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine for registration.

"I would like to extend my gratitude to our partners – including UNDP and World Bank, as well as to all NACP staff for their hard work. Today is a truly remarkable day in history" noted Ruslan Radetskyi, NACP member delegated to be the focal point for launch of the e-Asset Declaration system.

Ivan Presniakov, Head of UNDP Enhanced Public Sector Transparency and Integrity Project echoed the importance of these developments. He noted, inter alia: "the fact that UNDP expert findings and assistance were taken in as foundations for the finalized electronic asset declaration template is a very welcome development. Now that the template is there, we can collaborate on launching an awareness-raising campaign to train public officials in due submission of information through the approved tool."
