On 13-14 November 2018 in Lutsk city, 14 representatives of CSO-hubs ‘Volyn Institute of Law’ & ‘Modern Format’ learnt how boost capacities of their organizations by developing monitoring and evaluation system.
Why are monitoring and evaluation necessary for the civil society organizations? It helps to develop accountability and motivate team, facilitates communication with donors and the key stakeholders, and improves efficiency of organization’s activities.
“The clear goals and indicators must serve as the guidelines for activities of the civil society organizations”, stresses Yulia Petsyk, UNDP Ukraine M&E Associate at training for the CSO-hubs.
“We have understood that it’s essential to ask ourselves at the stage of planning: is the activity making changes in local community? Are we moving on the right direction? And what’s important: our organization’s activities must strive at achieving impact,” – shares Iryna Gaiduchyk, Head of the Volyn Institute of Law.
