On 29 October 2018 in Kyiv the Memorandum of Understanding between the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and UNDP Ukraine was signed.
It is the first step to team up on increasing efficiency of the public administration.
“Memorandum aims at strengthening cooperation between the state executive authorities and the civil society, and also enhancing good governance practices of the key national state institutions”, - said Kostyantyn Vashchenko, Head of the National agency of Ukraine on civil service at the ceremony of its signing.
One-year memorandum is related to the new project on supporting the civil service reform by enhancing the civil society-government cooperation. Funded by the Kingdom of Norway, it is part of UNDP broader support to the democratic governance in Ukraine.

It is necessary to continue our joint efforts to reform the civil service in Ukraine by increasing its capacity and efficiency”, - stressed Janthomas Hiemstra, UNDP Ukraine Country Director
