“NGOs working in risk reduction and conflict mitigation often need an additional boost in organizational development” - Tetyana Durnyeva

On August 10, 2018 in Kyiv "THE GROUP OF INFLUENCE'' Public Holding, which belongs to the CSO hubs network, presented the report on the organizational development of NGOs working with conflict-affected population. The report was conducted in In March-April 2018 under UNDP support.

“NGOs that provide support to conflict-affected populations and work in risk reduction and conflict mitigation often need an additional boost in organizational development,” said Tetyana Durnyeva, executive director of "THE GROUP OF INFLUENCE'' Public Holding at the presentation of the research findings. 

In March-April 2018, "THE GROUP OF INFLUENCE'' Public Holding, which belongs to the CSO hubs network, conducted the mapping of organizational development of NGOs working with conflict-affected populations under UNDP support.

Representatives of 90 organizations and initiatives from all over Ukraine took part in this online survey. Previously, such survey was conducted back in 2016. The assessment aimed to analyse the changes in organizational development and identify the needs in terms of coaching or other relevant support.

“The survey showed that coaching and consultation support come first, before the financial needs. It proves that NGOs understand the importance of organizational development, human potential and experience exchange,” commented Tetyana Durnyeva.
