#UINN Fest for youth innovative ideas

On May 19, 2018 #UINN Fest gathered winning teams of the #UINN Challenge and engaged youth to present implemented projects.

37% of young Ukrainians are ready to develop their local communitiess according to the sociological poll “Youth of Ukraine 2017”.

“The #UINN challenge, held by UNDP jointly with MinYouthSports, was launched to stimulate youth thinkіng outside of box, in an innovative way how to raise awareness of human rights and strengthen democracy”, - stressed Oleksandr Yarema.

The #UINNFest gathered innovators, civic activists and authorities to present the implemented initiatives and discuss how to engage more youth into policy-making.

“The future of Ukraine depends on youth, on those innovators who dare to change corrupt system and introduce news ways of governance and policy-making”, - emphasized Marcus Brand. Although limited in time, the winning teams proved that changes are possible, and youth can engage effectively into decision-making, inspiring other peers across Ukraine.
