10 Winners of the Contest of Best Practices of Youth Work in Ukraine in 2017 visit Estonia

The visit for 10 Winners of the Contest of Best Practices of Youth Work in Ukraine took place on 10-12.04.2018 by UNDP in cooperation with the Ministry of Sports and Youth of Ukraine and the Estonian Youth Work Center.

"In Tallinn, we learned about the century-old traditions of youth work in Estonia, and about the support of youth policy at the legislative level. The highlight of the trip was a visit to youth centers outside the capital, located in small towns and villages of Estonia.

I told about team work at the Youth Center "New Wings", exchanged contacts for new joint projects between Novovolynsk and youth centers of Estonia. Estonia's experience in working with youth is extremely useful, I will definitely use it in my daily work at youth center", - shares his impressions Pavlo Medyna, head of the Youth Center "New Wings" in Novovolynsk.

Pavlo learnt of innovative approaches to youth work in Estonia together with 10 winners of the Contest of Best Practices of Youth Work in Ukraine in 2017.

Ukrainian delegation, which included representatives of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and winners of best youth practices, also shared with Estonians about profound achievements of Ukraine in the field of youth policy.
