Kyiv, 21 October 2015 - The Cabinet of Ministers made a step forward on Ukraine's open data path and approved a resolution making 331 state datasets open for the public. UNDP has provided policy support on this issue and is committed to continue working closely with the civil society and the Government to help Ukraine become more transparent and democratic.

Kyiv, 12 August 2015 – The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution amending rules that steer the Selection Panel for picking 5 heads of the new anti-corruption watchdog – the National Agency for Prevention of Corruption (NAPC). The decision came after protracted but fruitful negotiations between the Government of Ukraine (including first and foremost the Ministry of Justice and the Cabinet's Secretariat) and the representatives of civil society, which were facilitated by UNDP and the EU Delegation to Ukraine.

On 14 November, the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights hosted a discussion on the preparation of the National Strategy on Human Rights. The conversation was facilitated by the Ombudsperson of Ukraine, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, UN agencies in Ukraine, and human rights organizations.
